Happy Birthday, America!

We enjoyed a busy Fourth of July this past weekend. A neighboring town has a great parade in the morning and a fireworks display in the evening. So, we attended both activities and scattered some "getting ourselves back to normal" activities between the two! Enjoy some pictures of our day!

Yea... we were ALL drooling over this car!! Pretty spiffy with its white walled tires and sparkly paint job! Definitely our favorite ... float? Do you call the classic cars in the parade a "float"? Hmmm... whatever it was, it was COOL!

A few bang-pops at home... and stomping on them is just so much fun! (Yes, this is a new dress for Blossom... it is her 3rd dress of the day. She also ran around in a swimsuit for a few hours, too. And I wonder how I have so many piles of laundry!!)

Pops bought a few sparkly firecrackers to impress the treekids with at home before seeing the big display in town! They loved it and wanted to "Do it again! Do it again!!"

Just before heading off for the big fireworks, they all brought out their last sparklers and sparkled away for the camera.

It was a fun and busy day... Here's to a blessed year for the United States of America!!
