Slow and Steady...

I had planned to post this turtle yesterday for "Wordless Wednesday"... Seems as though Wednesday came and went without me noticing! Wooops!

I feel like this turtle lately, though! I keep pluggin' away to get things done, yet don't feel like I am getting anywhere fast.

We just read about the tortoise and the hare, here. I hope that my slow and steady pace keeps me close to winning this race.

Yea, I don't really know where the end of the race is.

Some days I just want to cross the road. Why?

Probably just to get to the other side.

Maybe to get to the chicken coup with Bud and pick eggs at Great-Grandma's house in Nebraska...

or maybe, it will be to just sit on the other side with Branch...

or perhaps (and more likely) today it'll be striving to get to the other side to join Blossom...
