Playschool at the YMCA

Would you call this an excited kid??

Blossom was so excited to go to her first day of playschool all by herself!! I am so excited that she can play with play-doh... THERE!! 

Here are all the little saplings posing so nicely!  It was also a day of school for Bud and Branch- at home!  We have been working on Kindergarten and 1st grade since June.  Yippeeeee!!  Yes, we just got back from the longest ever field trip and a have a few Jr. Ranger badges to sport for our trouble!

Big Girl Piggie-Tails

Did you KNOW, that big girls who go to preschool ALWAYS go with their hair tidy with "pretties" in?  NO?  You didn't know that?  Neither did Blossom!  But, she found out today that I will only take her if she isn't looking rag-a-muffin like.  So, we practiced today for Mass... and she looked sooo grown up - baby-ness aside.  Maybe "imp" is a better way to describe how she looked!

Here, at the beginning of the trip - does anyone really look all that excited to be going on the longest vacation of their short lives?  This vacation will be nearly 2% of the length of time that Blossom has been alive!  WOW.  Uh, so... I hope that the interior of the car stays relatively clean and that whatever is in that backpack stays in there.  Duh, forget it what am I thinking.  I hope we hit rain and get a free car wash!  And I hope that we all have our wits about us by the time we venture home!
